Postpartum Support

Transitioning into life with a new baby can be more difficult than expected. Your body may still be healing while you’re learning the ins and outs of your new baby, you may have forgotten what it feels like to get a full night’s rest, or you may need extra support. Let us take some of that weight off your shoulders.

We offer:

  • Overnight support

  • Emotional & educational support for parents, household and immediate family

  • Sibling support

  • Physical support for mom

  • Education on newborn care including but not limited to the following: relating to feedings, soothing techniques, and cues to recognize signs of tiredness, hunger, fussiness, and over stimulation.

  • Grocery shopping & meal prep

  • Light housekeeping

Newborn Care Education

Transitioning from the comfortable, warm womb to the outside world is a big adjustment for an infant. With little-to-no newborn experience, adjusting to life with a little one can be even more overwhelming. Our team is excited to offer in-home education surrounding all things newborn care. We will discuss developmental milestones, cues and signs of hunger, tiredness and over-stimulation, and feeding support, whether you decide to nurse or bottle feed. We will also discuss bathing, swaddling, safe sleep practices and use of accessories you already own, designed perfectly for you and your family’s needs. Our team wants to leave you feeling confident and enlightened about all things baby!

Baby-wearing Education

Most parents request and receive baby-wearing gear as a gift, but we find that many parents don’t feel confident enough to actually use it. We believe that baby-wearing is a skill worth learning: a study by Hunziker and Barr found that wearing a baby for three or more hours a day reduces infant crying up to 54%.* Another incredible fact: mothers and infants coordinate their heart rate during social interactions. This happens through touch and increases substantially when interacting with facial expressions and vocalization.** Baby-wearing is a unique bonding experience for you and your baby and leaves your hands free to tend to other siblings, house-hold chores, or to give your arms a break.

Our team has the education and experience with baby-wearing to offer you in-home lessons. We would be happy to guide you through the Do’s & Don’ts, safety techniques, and evidence-based information, leaving you confident, calm and happy knowing how to wear your baby proudly!

Day + Night Support

Beginning at $45/hour

Sometimes, you need rest to be your best--if you need assistance with siblings and extra hands throughout the day, we are here to support you. Need to eat but don’t have time to make a home cooked meal? We would love to make something fresh for your family and prep a few meals for the week. Falling behind on laundry? We’re happy to help from washing to folding. On top of housework, we are also here to help build confidence in your everyday life with your newest little one. Our daytime support requires a minimum of four hours per visit, ensuring that we are able to complete several tasks as well as allow you some rest, whether it be for a shower or a nap.

Overnights are a great option to secure as your partner goes back to work to ensure everyone is well-rested for the next day. Whether you are breastfeeding or bottle feeding, we are thrilled to support families with our overnight services: diaper changes, bottle feeds, bringing baby to you to nurse, or waking you to pump. We’ll spend the time settling baby back down so you can get optimal rest. Our overnights are 10 hour shifts minimum.

Labor Support

$2,000

We help provide a calmer, more blissful bonding experience with you and your little one(s) when it matters most by directing you to the most recent evidence-based information regarding the labor choices you will need to make. You know your body best and we want to support you and your choices. No matter which method of birth you choose, we will offer our continuous support through prenatal, preparation, delivery, and postpartum. Planning a natural birth? We provide tools to ensure that your baby is moving in the best possible position for labor. Deciding on a Cesarean? We provide tools to help you understand what your body will encounter. Our services also include help for your spouse, partner, or family to better understand the emotions and physical transitions you will experience, giving them the tools they need to better support you and your transitional needs. On top of all of this, we offer referrals to providers, therapists, birthing classes, and more. Our birth packages include a 90 minute prenatal visit, labor & delivery support, and a postpartum wellness visit within the first week of birth.

The birth package is offered in two options: a full payment rate or a two-payment plan option. Should you choose to use our payment plan, we request that any remaining balance is paid in full by 28 weeks. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Prenatal Support

$500

We understand that you may only need prenatal support in preparation for labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. That is why we are now offering two prenatal support visits “A La Carte” style. We will provide all the same material as our labor support package, including text/call support leading up to delivery.
